 Hi everyone! I’m so glad you are visiting our website and I hope I can guide you through your speech therapy needs. Just a little background information on myself. My name is Jamie Hyler-Naude and I am a nationally certified and state licensed speech-language pathologist. I received my B.A. in Communications from Rowan University and my M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Seton Hall University. My practicum experiences while at Seton Hall included an elementary school, acute care and both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. I completed my fellowship working at an early intervention center in Philadelphia. I also had the chance to work in Manilla, Philippines at their General Hospital focusing on pediatric speech and swallowing disorders. I then started my career at the Centre for Autism Research and Education in Johannesburg, South Africa where I had the chance to work and learn from some of the greatest minds in the field. Upon returning to the states, I started working for Fox Rehabilitation where I have been able to help so many people overcome speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders associated with Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Vascular Accidents, Dementia, TBI etc.. 

After having children of my own, I decided to open Peekaboo Playground and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made! I love hearing from parents how much their kids look forward to coming here and I honestly enjoy coming to work every day. I do see some children for speech therapy here at Peekaboo Playground but it is mostly In-Home Therapy. Working with children in their homes allows me to target more functional goals and teach and encourage parents to use the strategies taught in therapy during every day situations to promote speech and language development.
